On Monday, June 1st the GS Juniors from Troop 2059 participated in a presentation by Alissa Schram who works for Capital Metro. One of the activities that the troop chose to work on prior to this presentation asked to create a message, poem or song that could be shared with friends, family, students or the general public. The acronym "ACORN" represents key safety points that will help individuals learn to stay away or "stay of the tracks." The final activity that Troop 2059 decided to complete was a PSA using the same ACORN information via the school announcements the next morning, June 2nd. This was a fun and very interesting patch to work on. The troop learned a lot of information.
