  • Thanks so much! You saved me a load of money! My antitheft allowed me in the car, but wouldnt let me start it without disarming it!. I thought it was the battery all along. Thanks again

  • on my car the "security" light was flashing on the cluster and it ended up being on the very back of the lock switch one of the two wires had become brittle and broke. so the car went into safty lock mode cuz it thought it was being stolen. so once i got a new lock switch n key she started right up....(2000 camaro), but now months later she wont start i hope its just my battery from 06 dieing... ne wayz great videos n take care, keep up the great work.

  • Sounds like it could be your battery, @925dude. If it ends up being the starter, you can find your local BBB retaler by visiting our website.

The first step toward solving your problem would be to have the battery tested. If it is good you will need to perform a voltage drop test on the positive and negative cable as described in the video. It sounds to me like there was probably a cable left loose.

Hi this is a good video. My ES300 has starter problem, there is NO crick or any sound from the starter. The indication light from the combination meter looks drawn current. I checked the battery, it is 12.33 V, the relay was functioning, fuse is OK. I was fixing my steering pump. After I completed to crank up the engine, I forget to lock the battery wire tightly. does it cause any problem, looking forwards receiving your respond

  • starter wine

  • @bbbindustries Correct, everything is stock n never been cut into and all my other items in the starting circuit are good n functioning correctly.

I cleaned my terminals n put petroleum jelly on tha terminals, charged tha battery n shes wrkin fine. But i will replace my battery soon just cuz of its age.

(the starter is original n brushes are good) take care n have a great day.

  • Thank you ver much, @cjm2005!
