Your exageration just belittles your opinion, but there is guilt to look at, there is money they enjoy by just "going along" with what's asked from them in the political arena. There is a point in each one of their lives when a hard look in the mirror and a choice is made, and the banking status quo seems to be the easiest way to the top in their "political careers".
If you want psychological comfort then by all means disregard everything I said, and these people in Congress are just dumb.

There's no educating the ruling elite. You either expose them and send them to jail for the rest of their lives, or you ask them nicely to stop and let them enslave you, taking your rights one by one.
