In Australia, a country where multiculturalism is extensive and there is much diversity of language, Spanish will play an important role as it was declared the second official language of the event following English.

Spanish speaking people will be provided with more than 25 locations to assist catechism, one of them being the spectacular Opera House.

"Well, my name is Jaguar and I come from Santa Cruz, Bolivia. I have lived here in Australia for 11 years, it is a wonderful country. God has called us to be masters of ceremonies of catechism during World Youth Day 2008. In fact, we are going to be masters of ceremonies at a very beautiful place, the Opera House."

"We are creating a wonderful and very lovely group, not only for the present but also so that in the future we remain united in order to participate in another world youth day."

"It is definitely going to be an experience of God, an experience of grace, an experience for all our community. Certainly, you that follow the event from Latin America or any other part of the world, who listen and see this program, God's blessing now comes to you."

"Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Australia....Many nations, one Christ."
