Civil Partnership Celebration City Bus Social Club Plymouth14th May.m2ts

Tonight's event was for a Civil Partnership at The City Bus Social Club in Plymouth and once again I must say this is a excellent venue and really laid out well and the staff were really friendly and helpful, also this was another first for R.J.Rhythm Entertainments and the crew. We are finding that Civil Partnerships are becoming more and more as the years go on and every time we do a function like this they just seems to get better and better and all the time the guests are always ready to party which is a great feeling. This booking actually came from our web site like many now and it was such a co instance that the one partner who actually made the booking was calling me from my home town of Stratford Upon Avon where after the ceremony he was moving down to Plymouth.
Well with me on this Evening was Darren, Mickey, and myself we set off from my office at about 4.30pm We arrived at the venue for 6.00pm and Mickey and Darren unloaded the van for me then helped me set up for the evening. We took out time setting up as we had plenty of time and I wanted this show to look perfect in this new venue for us yet again. When we had finished setting up the show looked great I must say. Well after a sound check and positioning of the lighting system we were ready to go. The Wedding Party started arriving at about 7.30pm and we played background music as they arrived with a bit of swing, waltzes and easy listening types of music up to the Buffet as this gave people a chance to sit and chat before the party really started. During this time we had a young lad called Joe as you can see top right picture who gave us a magnificent display of Break Dancing for everyone to see. The Buffet was served round about 9.00pm then we waited for everyone to be served then we had the traditional cutting of the cake before we re started the next session with lots of party tunes.

Well from our restart the dance floor was quite full and various people were coming up for requests etc and having a great time throughout the rest of the evening and the atmosphere was magnificent all night long, actually to can see some of this evening on our Video Page by clicking Here. The evening was a great success and as I said in my first paragraph I knew tonight was going to be a really good night.

We finished at Midnight which again was a great shame then Darren and Mickey packed away the show and then loaded up the van for me once the show had been packed away. It took us about an hour to pack away and get loaded up then we made our way back home after and long and successful brilliant evening.
