How ya gonna make it baby? That's the question to be asked Life goes on around you In so many different ways I know my share of history How hard it is to be free From wearing masks that turn to skin Hiding what you could have been And I, I, I'm so confused Which way, which way to choose? Ride with me baby 'til the end of the day

When I hear the Steppenwolf or Doors music, I picture myself in a 60s muscle car, passing an old restaurant sign that says, "Eat". Where are you going to find music like that anymore? You can't.

The Cult (Love Removal Machine) Don't Worry Baby (Los Lobos) Gypsy Blood (Mason Ruffner) Ace of Spades (Link Wray) Krill Slippin/Lonely Road (The Mermen) Ride Away (Roy Orbison) and this tune -- all great tunes to get into the wind by.

Every time I hear this I want to ride my Indian its one of the greatest motorcycle songs ever both born to be wild and this. Also faster than the speed of life. Great songs that are timeless. Thanks for posting most people never heard this song and I play it loud in my garage and people say it fits with the motorcycles.

probably my favorite Wolf song-especially cool guitar riff interactions with the note slides,etc...very 60's,very groovy... unfortunately, music with this kind of feel to it has been extinct for some time.

@ELGROOVER my bad, he is credited on 2 other numbers. what i meant was its odd he doesn't play guitar on an album in which songs he has written appeared. But, i agree, they do fit nicely in the album.
Odd in that this song is written by a Steppenwolf guitarist, Mars Bonfire, that hadn't appeared on an album since their 4th, and is no where to be found, other than this credit , on this LP.

To leonakita ~ On this LP, Mars also wrote "Tenderness" and co-wrote "The Night Time's for You". I don't know exactly when he wrote these songs, but they fitted the 'theme' of FLO well enough... ;-j
