Evan Buck, 1st Dan Black Belt from Brown's Karate Academy of Carlinville IL, performs Sae Kye Hyung Sam Bu. This is the third form learned in Tang Soo Do.

Sae Kye Hyung Sam Bu

When performing World Form #3, the key points are:

1. The form is in the pattern of a large capital "I"

2. There are a total of 20 movements, not including the Choon Bee at the beginning and end of the form

3. Turn the head before moving the body

4. This form is basic in nature, there are only three movements represented -- the outside center defense from back stance, center punch, and round kick.

5. Ki Hap sharply on the last kick up the middle of the form

6. Breathe out sharply on each move, breathe in between the movements

7. If performed correctly, you will end up in the same spot as you started from

8. The entire form is done in a back stance except for the punches, which are forward stance
