I figured I'd try to help out anyone who wants to learn stare at the sun on bass. I didn't take enough time to perfect the rythems but I will when I cover this song with some friends, I just want to get that verse part up. Good luck guys.

as said, chorus can be a nightmare to play and he seems to play it pretty spot on, and then when it comes to the chorus where its just the same note all the way through the bar, he struggles

Could be what he meant in his description, or it could be that his mix doesn't do well with those frequencies, or at least as well as it does with the verse riff.

timing and sound is way out, the chorus is messy as hell man just pick it its a fairly easy song once you get the chorus down but your rushing it, relax a little

I dont get it, You play the verse (suposedly the hardest bit of this song imo) Pretty awesome (by the way im using this version to learn it) but you sound weak during the chorus?

possibly because your trying to do a picking motion with your fingers?

Id be very interested to see you record this again but pluck the chorus with your fingers?
