My husband died of Melanoma because they didn't tell us to get regular checkups! They told us the cancer was removed and that he was fine. 5 1/2 yrs later and after my husband had passed away from the same cancer they sent me a letter in the mail. It was a follow up letter. I cried the whole time I was filling it out. Me a widow stuck at home with a 5 yr old son and living off of Social Security. If they would have only informed us on how we should take care of this problem correctly. God Bless!

I am so sad that you had to go through something so devastating. It must have been so hard for you. With that, do you truly believe Obama is your "savior", or anyone else's for that matter? I'm sorry to say I'm afraid you're deluding yourself. With his, just like every other politician's promise, would come the excuses, only AFTER being elected. Please don't waste even a single moment of your life believing he will make it better. He can't and he won't. That, sadly, is life in America today.

die, probably. The best country in the world, and its citizens worry if they will die if they get sick because of greed and apathy by our leaders neglecting to do the right thing.

I really hope you guys get a better health system. It's apalling that your system will only attend properly to those who are insured. Help the sick no matter what is kind of something Christ would say isn't it?

I can really identify with Marla- healthcare costs are deadly. I'm a single Mom- work full-time, but can't afford healthcare premiums. Don't know what we're going to do if I get sick.
