@gtmthegreat LOL! I was really surprised, too, when he picked up the 'shake a paw' trick. From there, I started trying other things and he just picked them up without much training at all. Way easier and faster than a dog. Mind you, he won't do anything unless he confirms that there is, indeed, food to be had. He's picked up a few new tricks so I'll have to update the video I guess. Hey Chris! I really wanted a dog, but because we live in an apartment we got a cat. Turns out he's actually a dog anyway! I was totally surprised that he figured them out so fast. Now if I can teach him to stay off the table....

Congratulations! Luke is an amazing cat. You've done an excellent job educating him (you train a dog, but you educate a cat). He does such a good job responding to hand gestures why don't you see of you can get him to respond to voice requests only (dogs take commands, cats take requests). That would be spectacular!
