Great tip! Totally trying this. Besides, soap is self cleaning, has fewer chemicals, less packaging and cheaper in the long run over body wash. However, I prefer using goats milk soap or charcoal-based soaps, which cost slightly more, but I think it's definitely worth it.

@schumannsch Actually if it's boiled, the germs and such would more or less die.

@queenmem lye actually can be very bad 4 the skin but it was the cheapest/only soap available

the liquid soap is more hygienic, that true, but totaly full of benzyl and chemicals, read the ingrediens ,one of the best for keep your skin nice, soft and healty is the coal tar soap bar, just 4 natural ingredience in it.

soap is a natural germ killer...germs cannot live on a bar of soap...and all you have to do is rinse it and it's fine

This is NOT a good idea old slivers have lots of germs.

My grandmother told me about how she and her mother used to make soap from lye (ashes) in the country. I think that's pretty neat.
i use liquid soap.alot more hygienic, and you've got no scum or residues.even more, you can fill it after it's out
