    they are operated by a person from inside the station

    every fire station have them in Hong Kong

    it depends on the traffic condition and the road

    such as here, going across six lanes of relatively fast traffic and a blind curve, they will on the bell in advance as sometimes drivers will not stop unless they see the fire engine even though the bell and flashing light is on
