@Metalhead15712 That last sentence is funny. I actually did see this in high school, freshman year, as an allegory for the Russian Revolution and subsequent Communist rule in the Soviet Union.

@harrietamidala1691 yeah, i understand why they did what they did, but Orwell wrote the book to convey the hope and then unsettling ending. I wish that for once a movie could stay accurate to the origional novel (or concept). Don't get me wrong, the movie was good.

@777greggy1777 The end was done to reflect real-world history, as it was made after the Soviet Union collapsed. It makes sense, and the part were the pigs are indistinguishable from the humans is kept in from the original book--it's just expanded on for the real world.
