JUMP - VAN HALEN cover song performed on guitar (including all keyboard parts duplicated on guitar)

Many hardcore Van Halen fans that are guitar players ignore the song Jump because, other than the cool guitar solo and few other little spots, there isn't much happening on the guitar. I know I definitely do. However, a few years ago I figured out how to play the main keyboard parts on the guitar, and it actually made the song fun to play. For this video, I decided to learn ALL of the keyboard parts that I could (including the keyboard solo), and replicate them on guitar. During the chorus, I actually did a variation on the keyboard part which allowed me to use the low C note as an anchor and make it sound a little heavier. I actually prefer that over doing the straightforward keyboard part solely on the upper strings (like I did in the intro), and if I am to play this song live, that is how I would play the main riff. Other than that, there are only a few little places where I deviated a little from my original transposition of the keyboards. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it :)

@PixxyLixxx ... thanks Steve! The wide stretched finger tapping part I did toward the end of the keyboard solo was a bitch LOL... partly because I didn't crank the gain. I was actually supposed do that part for longer (in the sections immediately before and after), but I got lazy and transposed it down an octave so I could use the open g string. Rock on bro!

Right on Dave! You are a genius! And there are many people on Youtube that play note for note VanHalen but very few that play with the feel you do. Most of the other guys just sit on their butts and lack any passion. You simply rule
