Zelie Martin's letters,her cancer

Near the end of the play "Une Histoire d'Amour", Bl. Zelie Martin writes to her brother Isidore Guerin (CF 216, Correspondance familiale, July 27,1877) to describe the agony she is in, bedridden from the cancer, unable to even touch her head to a pillow from the pain or take a drink of water. Louis, Marie and the maid stayed with her during a night of unspeakable suffering. She says her time is up and that the good God wants her to rest elsewhere than the earth.

This video was filmed on beatification Sunday, Oct. 19th, 2008, in the Basilica of St. Therese in Lisieux.
