Palestine Archaeology for Kids Project is planning to teach Palestinian children about their heritage. Transporting childrens minds into another period of time can help them escape the stresses of the conflict.

Archaeological skills will be taught so that Palestinian children will know how to preserve their Heritage. Activities such as archaeological illustration, historical re-enactments, and excavation trips will be available for children who take part.

For a region which is dominated by conflict, archaeology can often be used as a political tool. It is time the archaeology of Palestine was enjoyed by its people. The project also hopes to inspire the next generation of Palestinian archaeologists.

Starts this July.

  • not like hebrew which is unfortunately classified as canaanite language spoken by hebrews, hebrews could be a mixture an aramaic-canaanite language , not fully canaanite, or something else but not really canaanite, the hebrews cameas arameans to canaan and adopted the original language and mixed it with their langauge could have been aramaic
