In 1945, a dark cloud came over the planet with the dropping of an atomic bomb over Hiroshima. The world needed cheering up, and to remember the sunshine and magic life offers. Marilyn arrived on magazine covers world-wide, just in time, with a bright enthusiastic smile. Her presence contributed greatly to a sense of positive hopefulness. Later, in film, she'd cheer us up once again with comedy and laughter.
Marilyn liberated the spirit of femininity, and proved that the human body was art, innocent and personal; Not something to hide in shame.

I love how m.m is not a super skinny super model and she has just the right amount of curves, shes soo purrty!!! people should look at pics of m.m if they need motavation to lose weight not some anorexic super model. guys dont like anorexic girls.

Yeah, she's her own person. People who are "nay saying" need to stop hatin' and lay off. They need 2 do their research and look at the things she overcame vs. the "scandals" some people associate her with. I used to not care about her, but I know I admire and respect her.
