no no no it is chao daree matlab mat uthaao. aap ke explanation say lagta hay jaisay chaudries insaan nahi balkay woh "round abouts" hain (chao=4 dar=ways) so chaudari=round about. I dont agree with that please dont mind.

Interesting theory but not backed my historical facr. Chaudry is a title taken up some Rajputs as well as Jats and Gujars and others. The word is derived from the words Chaur meaning 4 and dar as in way or direction. A chaudry is not bound by any loyalty to a king but is a free man with a republican out look on life. This a well documented fact and historically provable where as your explaination is only balderdash born out of an inferiority complex that bigs itself up at the expence of others.

Interesting theory but historically incorrect. Perhaps not the best place to refute this but as you brought this up one some ones family utube video. The word Choudry is derived from the words "Chou" ie 4 and "Dar" ie Ways or directions. Not bound to any servitude to any King, this title applied to the republican character of those who took it and for you to explain it without any historical proof is only a statement of your intelect or the lack of it.

Yeh jo chaudry hotay hain yeh asal main rajaain maharajaaon kay darbaar main kaam kertay thay. Jab Rajaaon ka darbaar khatam hota to Raja in say bolta ke "Chao Daree" matlab Daree (mat) uthaao. Iss tarah in ka naam "Chaao Daree" say chaudry ho gia. Jab koi ziada darian uthata tha to Raja khush ho ker uss ko inaam main zameen daita. Iss tarah yeh zameen kay malik bhi ban gay.
