@Chrisdt453 I wouldn't call it socialism but for the sake of the context of this video (it's title and description by the user) it helps to accept the supposition.
@TheStoneKey Australians have voted for majority Governments with social[ist]-democrat style policies for generations. Australians like it, because it works. It's why we're among the most highly developed nations on earth.

Australians actually ARE democratic socialists, if you want to play with that term. Medicare being the perfect example (but far from the only) of this - redistribution of wealth to provide better health services. Both major parties stand behind such 'socialist' policies.
