Check out Superman IV. Not only does the vacuum of space not apply, but apparently there is oxygen, wind, and best of all GRAVITY! I was so pissed!

Why does Superman insist on standing around bullshitting with the bad guys until they hand him his ass? Just fly in at bullet speed, punch their little heads off and call it a day.

@Frankie212009 Superman doesn't need to breathe oxygen because he can fly and survive in outer space. He should be able to handle that bubble.

Technically, Green K doesn't take away his powers. It poisons him. His heat vision should work fine, assuming he could muster up the strength to use it. I doubt the writers put that much attention to detail in, but it's not an error.
