  • Love him or Hate him.. He was one of the most important key people in the IT industry

  • i think if you wold have told him that in 30 years he wold be watching old videos like this on a device the size of a pack of cigarettes with almost no buttons with no wires going to it and it could run for a few days with out plugging it in and that its made by apple he wold have said your nuts

  • 17:48 Foreshadowing: iPhone

  • @therealfactor I think I disagree, all he did was popularize handheld media and online distribution. It wasn't a new technology, he didn't develop anything that was really ground-breaking. What he did have was a really good marketing department that managed to convince millions of people to throw away their money on badly made electronics that did the exact same thing as cheaper, better-made products <_<

  • @Spaceguy5 Steve Jobs isn't remembered and cried for because of his difference in the computer world. He's known for virtually changing the music, telephone, computer and movie industry. He didn't add to those industries. He didn't offer and option to those industries. He grabbed those industries by the nuts and flipped them 180 degrees around. That's why we remember him.

  • @mengle2004 Tell that to the laborers at Foxconn.

  • @Spaceguy5 dennis ritchie created C++ which wouldnt be as popular as it is today if steve jobs didnt make personal computers this popular..

  • So that hypocrite started off "liberating" parts ... and ended trying to put an end to that practice.

  • @mengle2004 You know who made a muuuuuuuch bigger difference in the computer world? Dennis Ritchie. He died around the same time as Jobs. Did you hear about it?

  • 12 former IBM executives dislike this video.
