even though it seems like being the passenger is the bitch job, it does seem like they are the ones who win or loose the race though

@RRVCrinale yeah the bike is lighter than the combined weight of driver and passenger, the frame is very light, usually steel, the f2 bike here is steel, f1 anr monocoq carbon and aluminium

@isherbin Yeah. I'd wager when you're what basically keeps this ultra low-slung bike from flipping over either side at speed like some kind of super-Reliant Robin, you have an important job.

I sound sarcastic but most of these bikes are made with tube frames, carbon fiber or composites. Someone correct me on this, but I think the rider and passenger are the heaviest components of the whole bike.

This is awesome! My husband is a sidecar passenger. I can't wait for the Australian racing season to begin (next week Wakefeild Park). I can smell the fumes already, ahhhh!
