CZ52 upgrades 1

this is the 1st vid in a "soon to come" series on upgrading the CZ 52. this is mainly on the barrel change and initial break in. more to come in the weeks ahead.

Good video

Did you try it with the old barrel first ? It looks bad but in my experience some barrels like this still shoot fine. I have a P 38 with bore like this and it shoots great , have had others. Not saying that all will but don't automatically decide you have to get a new barrel

I have a CZ 52 that is close to mint and I like it very much

@deaddollzombies yeah did shoot it, found at distance it lost a lot of accuracy. Besides, I wanted to change it out anyway.

Seriously, what's the accuracy like for this weapon. I've been thinking about getting one. The ammo is dirt-cheap on sportsmansguide. But if it has a buckshot pattern, I'm not interested. I'm used to keyholing my shots. Is this gun capable of that? 5ring, USMC '87-91

Would love to see the target. Mods and a new barrel are great but, if it can't hit anything, what's the point. I imagine, with a gun in good condition, the combo of velocity and bullet weight would make for good accuracy in a pistol with such a long barrel. Any other commie gun I'd doubt, but the Czechs make good stuff.
