This is what I deem a pretty amazing result. I'm shooting here at ISO 6400 at night on my street. All there is for lighting are some pretty dim streetlamps. I'm totally blown away with just how well it responds here. This is also a massive credit to the EF 50mm f/1.8 lense I am using. The thing only cost me 90 quid new and has the amazing f/1.8 aperture. Test shooting with my kit 24-105mm lense at this ISO there is absolutely no way you can film in those conditions! Anyhow. Successful test. This also shows you just how good the camera is even shooting at the 6400 ISO. So please feel free to comment.
@hasslefactory no worries at all my friend :)

I know where you live. And thanks for the upload - btw, does the camera have a crop factor at all?

Thanks so much for this video! Just bought a 5d Mk II and have been considering the 50mm 1.8 lens. Your test was great - certainly one of the better ones here - in that it actually shows how the lens performs (as opposed to the kind of "test" where it's mostly the producer talking... about himself). Anyway, you convinced me - I'm ordering the lens today! Thanks again.
