  • What is a rat hole? I assume its not where rodents hang out.

  • @Amiduffer A rat hole is the hole bored near the oil well being drilled and used to put a section of drill pipe into so that a connection can be made with the top joint (which has the circulation swivel and hose connected) then connected with the drill string to continue drilling. No rat would want to go there :-)

  • there is one i saw a few years back that doubled as a cell phone antenna next to the freeway leaving the airport on the way to anaheim
