You are so correct. Repetition, slow speaking, etc., are such huge keys to teaching very young children. It may drive adults nuts, but it works.

my daughter has adhd and she will actually sit and watch lets talk to puppy dog.so i agree jeff,repetition,slow speaking,etc are keys to toddlers

my 4 month old son loves watching puppy dog.He started watching about 2 month old and am very happy every time he watch,he is very attentive,he screams aloud,smiling,laughing,and dance with the puppy dog songs...as a mother am very happy to watch it with my son...great! :)))

Repetition is how I teach dance and how I have been teaching my toddler granddaughter to speak Italian. Learning this way is as old as the hills, because it works.
