Hey man.. How do I slow-mo the sound? Changing the playback rate on the video leaves it the same size, and ctrl + dragging the audio would make the audio longer than the video.

you said render as 24P but under MPEG-2 and Sony AVC there is no 24P unless i go into custom in Sony AVC and then change the frame rate to 24.000 (film) or in the case of MPEG-2 I select in template then go into custom and select frame rate and do a 23.976 pull down. What is the best way of rendering for web viewing?

Is it possible to transfer it w/o converting it? that would ba a relief.. Im not familiar with final cut pro.. So I hope there is another soulution. Cause if you watch my 7D videos, you can see that the quality is not that good as it should be. They are better when I watch them before converting.

Hmm... have you tried renaming the extension on the 7D videos from .mov to .mp4? I've had no trouble dragging 7D movie files straight to the timeline, though.
As for the 7D quality, you should probably use something like Cineform to preserve quality if you're going to transcode.

Hey : D, i Can get quicktime files in to Sony vegas pro9. It says that the plugin is not installed or something. I installed Quicktime, but still the message appears. Its annoying to convert, beacause the quality gets low when i convert. Please help :)

Sony Vegas Pro should be able to handle quicktime files... usually.
I actually had one case where I had encoded the files as Quicktime on a Macintosh, however, and had to convert each file manually. This was about 40 hours of HD video, so naturally, I was ticked off! Eventually I solved the problem by buying an $80 codec.
It's probably the major reason that I switched from Mac to Vegas - that and Vegas had multi-core support (and rendered faster) years before FCP did.
