  • @trancedboy Thanks for all the info, it's really hard to work out what to get started with when you don't fully understand all the lingo and tech behind stuff. This seems pretty versatile though, i reckon i can get a bunch of styles out of it to combine with my abnormal pieces of music production (such as phone sound chips and gameboy advance chip). Who knows, one day I might be able to do live stuff. In between my games design university work that is =P SUBSCRIBE

  • @Parivertis Awesome glad you like it :) Yeah there is a line in, so you can use external samplers/synths and combine them with the EMX effects, which is pretty kewl! You can also sync electribes together or with grooveboxes or other synths using the midi in/out/thru :)

  • @trancedboy ah yeah, I already knew of the difference between the S and M models in that respect. I was under the impression it has some line in capabilities though and wasn't sure what those were if that's true. Yeah i suspect i will end up using my DAW to mash up stuff, especially if i can get that setup done so each track is individually recorded. Would be epic combining this with my nanoloops. Just need to get a KP3/KPQ to boost my potential. Oh yeah, this tune is jawsome btw =)

  • @Parivertis The EMX is pretty kewl as a stand alone synth/drum machine, but it's not a sampler. The ESX-1SD (Make sure it's got the SD card slot, not smart media) is similar, but is JUST a sampler. Personally I wouldn't recommend the ESX just because your DAW is better for sampling. I mainly use the EMX to sample the phat quality synth sounds it can create. If you want a kewl synth/drum machine get the EMX, otherwise I'd probably recommend Ableton Live (with the live controller), btw check ebay!

  • @Parivertis Sorry, keeping in mind I've still a lot to learn about a lot of this stuff (check out my channel and you'll see why). Mostly been relegated to downloaded samples, yamaha midi keyboard and the effects on my DAW.

  • Hi there, I've been making my own music for quite some time now, even had some radio play, dipped my toe within the dnb, dub, dance and most overall electronic music within the last year. I had a crappy kaossilator before but have sold it. I now have a chance to get 1 piece of gear this christmas and so need to make a choice. This seems fantastic as a stand alone. Would I be correct? How good are it's sampling capabilities?

  • hey man. very nice :) it sounds good.

  • 03:57 MAN WTF THIS KILLS ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, very very nice sounds, and all. Great work. I love.

And seriously, this box got such an unique sound, i could recognize the sound between 1.000.000 others boxes.

    Sry for my bad english
