Eric Chahi 1991 master piece. I was lucky to have first experienced this on the Amiga. It was quite breathtaking back then. By using a technique called rotoscoping, witch covered with simple polygons an object outline and making realistic animation with such object, made this game immediatly unique and a cult classic. This is a vid of the Delphine's SNES version, all blood was removed, some new hazards were added and the naked female alien bathing scene was slightly censored, all of this due to request by Nintendo of America in 1992. If you're a fan, make sure to check out the 15th Years Remake for PC, with high resolution 1280x960 wich really make a difference compared to the humble 320x200 original. Oh, and if you've never heard of this game... you're missing something special! Renamed Out of This World in the USA.

  • this game don't work with my emulators... :-(

  • @SilentDesease Actually hes dead at the start of the sequel. The point is we were talking about this game, not the sequel

  • @mintydog06 he dies at the end in the sequel

  • Geez, when I saw the scrolling "Star Wars" text, I thought it's a parody.

Why did they re-work every game for the NES/SNES, not just porting them? Many games became awful in Nintendo style!

  • Man it was such a joy to be a kid when this was out.

I feel sorry for kids who grew up on playstation and xbox, they missed the best years of gaming.

  • My PSP wont run this ROM wtf... :(

  • This game was incredible. I remember renting this when I was little when it first came out, and I could NOT stop playing it until it was finished. And it was a hard game. But this stands out as one of those games that I'll never forget.

  • Too bad the SNES was too slow, it really shows in this game... The Genesis port was superior (Although had pretty crappy music).
