In this series of videos I propose a Theory of Consciousness that attempts to bridge the explanatory chasm that exists between our first-person realities (i.e., the way it feels to think) -- and our knowledge of neurology and the way the brain works.
In this video, I demonstrate how the act of encountering an object can automatically stimulate the memory of a previous encounter with that object.
I was also going to say that mentally ill patients and their experiences paired with what is actually found to be wrong with their brain is a good insight to how the mind works.
I think it will take a combination of many different disciplines...besides just psychology, neurology and philosophy. Enter in the mathemeticians, electrical engineers, ...hell, even artists. but of course i think the total explanation is just too wide to notice all at once.

this sounds very interesting. i think what people get caught up with when it comes to understanding consciousness is that they get scared of the fact that they are nothing more than a biological machine, but then they don't bother to look at it on the bright side. that such a machine can still feel and think, and to great heights.
Anyway, I was wondering what your take is on a frequency of the brain? Such as the looking back and forth between memory and inputs.
