How I loved this number when Bill performed it...my friend Robert Bowlin does a fine job on the fiddle. No one will ever be able to compare to The Father of Bluegrass...He created a musical genre, nurtured it his entire life and left that most marvelous legacy for us to enjoy...Thanks for sharing this wonderful video!
Just remember, Bill was about 82 years old when he performed this show! I hope I can still feed myself at that age, let alone have the energy that he did. I had the privilege of going to one of his shows in WV in '93. He blew me away. He did the same thing at that show with "Rawhide" that he did here (where he asks the audience "are you ready?") Then he flat out burns it up until the end of the song. It's things like this that make him my favorite artist of all time.

Right on the money sirduff. For my money, Bill that short list of greatest artists in history - for all generations and genres. He was the consummate artist, showman and hard working professional 'till his final days. There will NEVER be another one like him. We owe so much to him.
