@ScourgeOfGodUK Lazenby was a thousand times better as Bond than Roger Moore and a hundred times better than Connery.
-
@rajanlaad Lazenby should've been the next Cary Grant, god knows he looked like him and was a splendid actor (by far the most convincing James Bond). Instead, that mantle wound up being picked up by George Clooney three decades later.
-
@Dites1954 Lazenby was closest to the Bond in Fleming's books, and the most entertaining as well as realistic.

@Onlymusical agree absolutley

This Bond film was the most heartbreaking for obvious reasons.

This documentary has exploded a couple of myths for me. The first being that George and Diana did not get on and the second that George got too big for his boots and resigned.
-
@TomfromExeter I think the soundtrack is one of the best and for me this is the best produced by John Barry.
-
Interesting documentary. It's a shame they didn't expand on the back-to-basics screenplay or the great John Barry score.
Easily my favourite Bond film. I think Lazenby brought an emotional vulnerability and physicality to the role which was much needed after Connery's lack luster performance in YOLT. Eon should have held their nerve with this reboot and spared us the comedy Bond of Diamonds and Roger Moore.

CONNERY WAS AND STILL IS THE BEST BOND
