Oh, She is a Lawyer... She did say Detained, Questioned, AND released. I wonder what they were looking for? She doesn't say! Why would a lawyer not say something? of coarse they would be connected ... they were all known locations of Radical organizing... Radical like Socialists? NO warrants = Probable cause. ::nod:: Out of town visitors at known Radical orginization dwellings..hmmm. At several... oh yeah she said that she believes they are connected.. this Smacks of legal posturing, Whata c*nt

Firstly There is not such thing as peaceful protestors. A peaceful protest is called a petition.
ANd secondly the protesters aren't exactly making it easy to arrest the trouble makers.

You had a peaceful demission. Right who was breaking the windows? How many of your peacefully law-abiding demonstrators stopped the vandals from destroying property? How many of the demonstrators turned witness and reported the crimes and the people that did crime? And by standing by letting it you are just as guilty as the ones that did the crime. You are nothing but hippocras.

I have friends that were in this raid it all was bullshit.
So because 1% of the protesters were unruly (In other parts of the city) that justifies the tear gassing of thousands of peaceful protesters and the incarceration of journalists that had proper credentials to be at the RNC? Wow that make a whole lot of sense. I would say just arrest the trouble makers, oh right I forgot all protest is trouble making...

Also, to all of you "if this was China you'd be killed for protesting" people:
That is a really stupid argument. What you're saying is that we should be grtateful because we have less oppression than others, but oppression to any degree is bad, regardless of the fact that here, we can protest in a way the government dictates.
That's not the point of protesting. It's just another way of brainwashing the public to value meaningless things and shun critical thinking.
