@DaddysGirl3181 The vinager not only helps to get the baking soda off (to prevent a rash) it also breaks down the ammonia that is produced in a soild diaper

@Amapolabear Also, the most important thing and washing diapers is water, not detergent. So a little bit of detergent, and a lot of water.

@xmelichanx You can pour hot water in your washer. Here I boil a kettle and sometimes, if the diapers are really dirty, I pour extra hot water in the washer. I use the dry pail method as well. My son is a toddler, so sometimes I do have to rinse off the poop before putting the diaper in the pail. But now I'm cloth diapering my 8 week old daughter too, and she's breastfed and formula fed (no solids), so there's no need to rinse off the poop at all. I just throw them in the washer.

@Amapolabear Hi! What if you dont have any hot water? the hot water doesnt work with my top loader, what do suggest for me? :) Im trying cloth diapers for the first time today! and im using the dry pail method, will it be okay if i just rinsed out the poop and just put it in the pail? hmmmm
