White House Video Praising Solyndra as a Recovery Act Success Story

Posted on the White House blog 5/26/10, just six months before Solyndra almost went bankrupt and was bailed out by a White House campaign bundler. 16 months later the company finally collapsed.

The reason that we're in a depression is because the U.S. Government is propping up failed companies like Solyndra and General Motors while kicking the dogshit out of perfectly functioning ones like Gibson Guitar.

The Bush administration deemed Solyndra a bad risk and denied it money. But the president of the company was an Obama bundler and that's all that Obama needed to know. If the company failed, so what? It's green energy, and that's what counts. If the taxpayers are out half a billion dollars, just tell them to suck it up and throw more money at another untested green energy folly. Explain the failure away as an activity that we won't cede to the Chinese. That's the Obama way.
