I really like these kinds of videos. Yes we owe a bit to ol BusanKevin for starting this style of vlogging... Well it would seem that you and I agree its his style.
The video and audio is way better than my blackberry storm II. I made a quicki vid from there as well... I could have sworn it was a bigger place.. It looks huge in the movies... "Lost in translation"....

i recently purchased the touch 4g also and the is going to be the device i will be using to take my vids when I get to Japan
Any apps you would suggest? for japanese or video/photography? Thanks

Shibuya was awesome when I was there. one of my favorite places in Tokyo. Man i miss it... The ipod touch looks good. I want one XD thanks for the natsukashii moment hiko ^_^

The audio is pretty good considering how loud it is there. iOSDroid...wouldn't that solve all our problems?

Good video Hikosaemon! Not sure what happened to the audio on this video though. I could only hear you from my left speaker. I checked my speakers by playing an MP3 and they both played fine.

@chrishimself84 Yep, I think for YouTubers, a decent front facing camera is a godsend, because it can help us avoid the silly looks when we walk around with a camera obviously pointed at ourselves. I think for YouTube, VGA is fine for quality, and sound was good here too - control of white balance is key and that works well so this really shows the iPod Touch is a pretty good flip camera alternative.

@AntoneX6 Hey! Ojisans can't hang out in the 'Buya every now and then?! I was on my way to a trivia night fundraiser for a local cricket team - my team came 3rd out of 18 teams (the credit mainly going to my team members who consistently overruled my proposed answers, replacing them with actual correct answers...)

@loganaustralia I'm super happy with my iPod Touch. With Skype now able to run in the background, and the cameras, mic and speaker, so long as you have wifi available, it does everything an iPhone does, only is smaller, and has much more memory (I got the 64GB version).Plus, this was a pretty harsh test of the camera - dark, noisy... although the camera on the iPod Touch is admittedly pretty crap, I thought it came through pretty well.

@chrishimself84 Incidentally, I edited the clip on the iPod as well, and merged the two clips together, so I'm pretty impressed. After this test, I think I will use my iPod to do more "BusanKevin" style on the fly English walking talking vlogs.
