@fatimmortal Though I didnt have vista too long before I upgraded to 7, I really didnt have too many problems with it. I found it to be very resource hungry.
I had one gig of ram in my desktop when I first built it, Vista almost always ate up the gig just doing normal tasks. I added two more gigs later and saw a marginal increase.
7 just works better and will work with what you have.
