Actually their are some that show that those who watch fox news are less informed than people who don't watch any news what so ever.

Well, then I fear we may have made enemies out of one another unnecessarily. Sorry about that; when you aren't completely explicit, even to the point of pedantry, counter-trolls like me eat that stuff up and spit it back at you. :P But to be fair, that was because I figured you were trolling. That was my main reason for intentionally being so argumentative. Not to insult your intelligence, but just so we're clear; I'm using counter-troll to mean someone who trolls to get rid of another troll.

Sorry, I didn't feel I needed to be perfectly exact in my description of what we were talking about this entire time. I figured when I said "major media source," that we were talking about news networks. When I say "most people prefer FNC to MSNBC," I was referring to those who actually watch the news, which is true. I'm not being aggressive. I just don't like people assuming or putting words into my mouth.

Ran out of characters on this one, here's the response to the second to last point:

Interesting, then why "every major media source has a political agenda and is propaganda" Last time I checked ESPN was a major media source. The only justification for that is that you for some reason decided to use a double entendre in your wording, which wouldn't be a good idea here since those usually cause arguments to devolve into something off-topic.

Yes, that's true, out of the given population that watches it. But since it doesn't represent 100% of the population, your blanket assertion that "most people prefer FNC to MSNBC" is on shaky ground at best.

Then, not to take this off track, why so aggressive? Believe it or not this is me counter-trolling what I figured was trolling. I'm actually not even a leftist. :P

See above. So don't state that, or your statements look like you have nothing but a sea of bland generalizations as proof.

That's definitely not incorrect. When the ratings are better, more people watch it, in that more people prefer it.

I have not assumed the FNC and MSNBC are the only two news sources. I actually watch CNBC more than any of them.

I haven't assumed that TV ratings represent 100% of a given population, because 100% of the population doesn't watch the news.

We're discussing major news networks, not ESPN?

Your assumptions on what I assume have no validity. That's what really sucks here.

Actually, that's incorrect. Your numerical assertion is, anyway. And again, more viewers doesn't make one any more correct or solidify one's position.

You've also assumed that FNC and MSNBC are the only two "news" sources people watch.

You've also assumed that TV ratings represent 100% of a given population.

You've also made quite an accusation. Tell me, what's Comedy Central's propaganda? Or Cartoon Network's? Or ESPN's? Go on, entertain me.

Blanket statements really suck, don't they?

Every major media source has a political agenda and is propaganda. It just comes about that FNC leans to the right, and all the others lean left. I guess it's an opinion then, that most people prefer FNC to MSNBC.

And by the way, don't cite the amount of viewers to a "news" station to back up any claim you may make. Just because a horde of people listen to what they want to hear doesn't make it better, accurate, or reliable than any other. It just means its garnered more ears because its propaganda is effective.

You're actually correct, Jack. Fox isn't news, and neither is MSNBC. You wanna know why?

Because they don't show facts. Plain and simple. There's no reason to spice it up by trying to make yourself sound intelligent. I never said you weren't, I just said there's no reason to sit yourself on your high horse, because Fox is no better than MSNBC. Any "news" station that doesn't show facts and has a political agenda is not a news station, it's a propaganda machine.
