A bumpy approach and touchdown in DFW-Flight 1239 from Orlando-MCO. Note the strange usage of reverse thrust.

  • Reverse thrust sounded normal to me. I think it may be confusing with the sound of the wheels slowing down and the reverse thrust.

  • i know i just love the looks of the MD-80, 83, 88, 90s i you watch so video of other airlines landing there MD-80s they do it in a rough manner i hate to see such a beautiful plane being treated like that i have noticed over the years that American Airlines takes extremely good care of there MD-80 it is to bad that they Largest operator of the MD-83

    Oldest being replaced by: Boeing 737-800

    The rest will be replaced with Boeing's 737 replacement
