I just got done recommending Amelie to my sister. She was bummed out about Pushing Daisies being cancelled on TV, & I told her well if you like that show then you will really like Amelie. The TV series is a direct ripoff of the movie in its surrealistic style, tone & art direction.
Mmm, a boyfriend that cooks. My last one did ALL of the cooking, and what a sweet gift that was to me. I like cooking alright, but he LOVED cooking & I was more than happy to accomodate him his desires. :P

Those are really great movie choices. All of them are really great art. Memento, Amelie,and Eternal Sunshing we're very daring. Those films in any other hands could be such messes but thankful they ended up in the hands of great directors and editors.
Really great inovative storytelling.
