@SlipHat Some places have highschool crews. In New Brunswick, we had kids as young as 14, but they definitely weren't making as much as everyone else. I think they made $180 one day and it was the greatest thing ever to them lol Don't get me wrong, more money that any other summer jobs around here, but it all depends on you, your crew, and the land.

The law in Canada said that : for each tree that been cut, 2 MUST be plant. So each time Canfor, winton Global, Abitibi or BCTS cut a tree, they have to plant 2 ! What is the magic in that ? We plant tree after cutting down the first and we will plant 2 other tree for each of those whose going to be plant...you can use your mind. Sorry for my english, i'm from Quebec and I plant tree in BC PEACE BRO !!!

I don't get your argument. Is there a bad type of planting a tree?
The area this planter is likely the Montane Spruce or Interior Douglas-fir BEC zone. Regardless of what species he is planting (Fd, Pl, Sb, or Sx) the harvest age for those species occur at around 80 years or older.
Denutrifying the soil? Harvest is often done so that much of the nitrogen the tree contains is left behind through foliage to replinish the soil and the next growth cycle. See all that debris?
Get informed.
That guy probably put in over 2000 trees that day, over 10 thousand that week and over 100 000 that season. How many trees have you ever put in the ground dancidelics? Quit sitting on your neck.... Peace
