The Clan of the Cave Bear - Ayla gives birth to Durc

Movie (from 1986) based on the novel "The Clan Of The Cave Bear" by Jean M. Auel. In this scene Ayla (A young Cro-Magnons woman raised by Neanderthals) discovers she's pregnant but her happiness ends when the clan discovers she can hunt. She's "cursed with death" and forced to live alone for a while. She gives birth to Durc and soon after returns to the clan.

I'm in the book right now where Ayla and the clan are at the gathering. This movie cuts a lot out... I wish they would redo it. You do t get the same feelings wile you watch it.

this movie doesn't make justice to the book. I thik Jean Auel wasn't happy with the outcome... she can't be happy and yes, I also think that they should make another version or a tv series from the book sequels. would love to see that.

@LadyVulcanWolfMoon I have read that book. YOU said she looked in her late teens in the movie. I think she looks like she is in her late 20s in the MOVIE. I know how old she is and know the books. Why are you trying to correct me?

@mhuffman2882 re-read "The Valley of Horses." as well as Clan of the Cavebear. she was with the clan and Uba was scared that she would not survive the birth but Ayla was determined to have him. When Ayla first found out she was pregnant Uba wanted to give her the herb that would cause her to miscarry. Ayla wanted to have the baby. I have read these books like 10 times.
