I have the SSB-300 by sony but I was also going to get the SSF-7000 now I might instead get these pioneers instead. I am too much of a sony fanboy

Thanks to Andrew Jones and Pioneer team for accept the suggestions of many fans of the brand among whom I include myself, that has long expected to launch a quality speaker and an affordable cost for those who do not have much purchasing power, but still do not listen I would like to know what influence the metal grates on the sound and whether they can remove the speaker?
And since I´ll import the SP-FS51-LR for enjoy it with my Pioneer stereo in Chile.

I owned Infinity Preludes designed by Andrew Jones, but the foam wore out, and I had them refoamed.This ruined them, since the re foam shop could not get the original foam of the british made drivers. I wonder if these will sound anything like the Preludes ?
