@PHT07UK I think it has to do with who hosts the ads. The Evony ads probably take up the same slots as those nail fungus ads. I know that AdHitz runs ads for Evony because I tried putting their advertising HTML on my blog once and one of these ads showed up. Thankfully, I don't think Adsense does, though, which is what I use now.

Evony is very different than its adds and is a pretty fun game for sure kinda hard to get into but when u find good friends and alliance it becomes really fun :D looks like u guys didn't try it so why knock it? but building times take forever when ur staring out so i can see why not to many ppl stick around but adds are weird 4 sure lol

The advertising for Evony is actually quite genius. Misleading yes, but genius. The game itself is not very interesting (a typical run-of-the-mill RTS). So how do you get people to play your game? You advertise with something that everyone likes......yes it's deceptive, but It's clear they're getting the attention that they want......and they're probably getting some money off of it too. History shows us again and again an advertising truth - sex sells.

Ugh! I hate those ads to an immense extent. :| I was playing some online detective games, then the next downloading music; those ads comes up with those massive breasts, or that.. busty idiot blonde chick. I went to a site that had like.. games intended for kids to play, and that ad shows up. Sheesh! They shouldn't even be advertising there, either. Freggin' annoying, really, they should remove them in the near future.
