Day Twenty-One: Unlockeing Narshe
Location: Narshe, Fanatics Tower
Characters: Locke (31) Terra (32) Mog (30) Relm (30) Strago (33) Cyan (29)
Time played today: 1:18
Total time played: 17:05
Steps Taken: 36,720

I started off the day fighting Doom Gaze. Only two encounters took him away. Wasn't too hard, close call the first time though. Afterwords, I went and got some training done near Maranda, to learn life 3. I went over to Narshe, and found Mog in the Mines. I also picked up the moogle charm, pod bracelet, ribbon, and elixir. Much better than the old treasures that would've been here. I went into Narshe itself and unlocked some doors with Locke. I took the Cursed Shield which I will not uncurse, and the Ragnarok. This will be an illumina soon enough. I made my way up to the Ice Dragon who was very easy, but if you come unprepared then you will be destroyed. Tritoch was easy too, no matter how ill-prepared. I went into the mines. Kind of just went right to Umaro, the only thing worth around here. Picked up the Gauntlet though, it'll be a thunder shield soon enough. I warped out and got ready for the Fanatics Tower. Moogle charm is essential for making your way up. I got all of the treasures here including the hidden air anchor, the final tool for Edgar. The White Dragon was just cake, absolute cake. Magi Master I had to use the berserk strategy at this point because my level isn't high enough for a regular fight. Life 3 on everyone, fire 3, flare, and anything else from the other two. Afterwords I left the tower and saved. Ending day twenty one... will I make the deadline?

  • Took me 3 attempts to take Deathgaze (Doomgaze) out. The third time always was the charm.
