The song "Sanoe" was featured in the "Hawaii's Last Queen", which prompted my search, which is how I came across your site. This is such a touching piece with a beautiful melody. I'm a homesick, local haole wahine, now in TX. This is truly a beautiful version Jessie!

It's the real story of the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy & how Liliuokalani had to surrender as Queen. . I moved away from Hawaii 25 years ago and am still homesick for the music we enjoyed there. One of my favorite songs. Beautiful job, Jesse!

My mother worked at QLCC till she retired and loved all the Queens work but especially this one. It is truly a gorgeous song.
