  • Hey LeSaintPatrick,...yes Sir! Trying to keep it funky, man. (lol). I'm going to try and keep you bobbing as much as I can. Putting up some new vid's this weekend. Got a long weekend. I might as well do what I love doing. Play The Bass! (smiles). Thanks for the comment.

  • Hey JaySteveBass, in this day & time, manufactures producing items now are so amazing. They have skills now. I remember a Precision 4 string bass back in the day was $231.00 brand new. Those basses today are worth a lot more. So how to day that the Squiers aren't made out of the same material now as it was back then. I'm talking about the early 70's. So just because of a name. Well, it really don't matter to me. I just get them & play them anywhere.

    Thanks,

    Coop'

  • Hey jazzrockbassfreak, yeah it's really strong. I changed mine though. I put one of my favorite "COST EFFECTIVE" bass preamps in it. Now it's active! Still have that strong bite that the bass had when it was passive. I'll soon post it again with the new bass preamp in it. Hopefully you'll see it again. Hey, when you get a chance, look for the "NEW ESP J-205 BASS" you might want to consider. Check it out, boss. That's all I'm gonna say about that one.

    Thanks,

    Coop'

  • Hey Kuuuks. Oh really? Squier is higher than Cort? Wow! Here in the US I think Cort is more expensive than Squier's. Both sound good to me, though.

  • que opinas del fender jazz bass mexico deluxe activo de 5 cuerdas, ??

  • @11coopbass right on bro, check my buddy SlikkTim out: he only plays 300/400$ axes and he sounds really great (his last one is Jim Harley on which he put EMGs and new strings;the result's just unbelievable and i'm a Sadowsky owner ;)

  • could you make a tutorial how to get the intonation on a bass good? i dont know how to do it perfectly and i dont want to pay for a good setup by a guitartech. when i started playin two years ago, i had the luck that my bass was in a good setup but now, with my new squier i got problems with the b string...

  • Great groove got my head bobbing, doing it right brother! Keep it funky!

  • diggin your groove man! lots of ppl hate on squiers but i had one for my first bass and was amazed how good it sound considering mine was only 150.

and i've also heard mia fenders that sound like junk. player is more important than bass!

  • Thanks coop :)
