UNLOCK iphone 3g, 3gS on 3.1.3 Firmware

Well guys a long awaited Unlock is finally out.

IPHONE 3G USERS : If you have an iphone 3g with 3.1.3 firmware, jailbreak it using this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMU9GlIXgRs
Then Unlock your iphone 3g by adding this source in Cydia : "http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com" And install "Ultrasn0w" . Done.

IPHONE 3gS USERS: If you have updated an iPhone 3gS on 3.1.3 firmware then you need Official sim card to activate your iphone through itunes. After all this, you can successfully jailbreak your iphone 3gS through "SPIRIT" following this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrOjofXzIsc
After Jailbreaking go ahead and open Cydia and add this source in CYdia : "http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com" And install "Ultrasn0w" . Done.

I have iphone 3g but not sure what model or baseband it is because it is on the connect to itunes screen. If i jailbreak it to 3.1.3 can I unlock no matter which baseband or will putting 3.1.3 change the baseband? What is the safest best way to jailbreak and unlock without being stuck on a baseband i can't restore from?? Thanks
