San Juan, Puerto Rico

San Juan is the capital and largest municipality in Puerto Rico. As of the 2000 census, it has a population of 433,733, making it the 42nd-largest city under the jurisdiction of the United States. San Juan was founded by Spanish colonists in 1521, who called it Ciudad de Puerto Rico ("Rich Port City"). Puerto Rico's capital is the second oldest European-established city in the Americas.

The video begins outside the Condado Plaza Hotel as I look out on the Atlantic Ocean. After a couple ocean views I walk into Old San Juan where I visit Plaza del Quinto Centenario, Castillo San Filipe del Morro, and Fort San Cristobal.

You should have fixed the Puerto Rican flag in the center of your camera. After all you were in Puerto Rico and that is the flag that represents Puerto Ricans. As Puerto Ricans we put the Puerto Rican flag before any other.
