A demonstration of a DIY mod I performed involving the ashtray of a 1996 Infiniti G20. The iPod charges and plays through the car stereo when placed in the Universal dock i have installed in a hollowed out ashtray

  • How is this a DIY mod? This is something a 16 year old who uses his mom's Subaru to drive his friend's to MC. Donald's does. You probably like Sony' Xplod speakers too

  • should get a mobile/cellular phone holder and so the ipod is higher, that is so low, annoying to change songs when driving

  • no its freakin not a radio transmitter. The object plugged into the cigarette lighter is a power adaptor. You can easily see the audio conection to the front faceplate for the audio. Both of those are pluged in to the back of the dock, which is snog in the ashtray.
